Harl / Rex-Dart / Avianna / Remie / Tobie Jade / Heartless

As a child, Harl had grand dreams of being Indiana Jones, which soon translated to “just try and figure out how not to be a deadbeat” upon hitting college. A BA in English and a BA in Metalsmithing later, she threw pretense out of the window and decided whateva, whateva, she do what she wants. As a cosplayer, Harl was sick and bloody tired of never having a wig that fit her curiously large cranium, and never being able to depend on a company’s product or quality. Thus, Kingdom Arts/Arda Wigs was born.

Arda has been in operation since 2009 and Harl has been cosplaying since 2004. Her interests include gardening, banging on sheet metal, Kingdom Hearts, Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, video games, and writing about herself in the third person, a skill she learned in college and puts to decidedly good use when someone asks for a pseudo-humorous short biography.

As the point man/assistant manager of Arda Wigs, Rex Dart has never once put her BA in history to any sort of use and instead handles things like logistics and heavy lifting and taking care of the place while the Master is away. She has been with the company since the beginning, making “not getting fired” her primary area of expertise.

Her favorite things include Star Wars, Kingdom Hearts, Good Omens, Hitchhiker's Guide, Lord of the Rings, Inception, MST3K, and Monty Python. Although she has only been cosplaying since 2007, she can often be found at her sewing machine muttering, “I wish I knew how to quit you!”

Rex’s other primary areas of interest include politics and social justice.

Avianna (aka Arda Emily) has been cosplaying since 2008. Ever since she was a little girl her mother's been catching her putting together some sort of outfit. Avi's never one to say 'No' to an event where she gets to dress up. She's a big Silent Hill fan and we pretty much can't keep the blood colored acrylic paint out of her sewing room. She's also a sucker for a good old JRPG, Harvest Moon, Survival Horror or table top pen and paper RPG (DnD & CoC).

A theatre nerd, Avianna graduated with a Theatrical Directing Degree in December 2010, and put it to good use via directing code to "frakin' work!" She loves talking about crafting costumes, eating sushi, dressing up to go out dancing and
taking cosplay WAY SERIOUSLY!

Thanks to her older brothers she's been playing all kinds of video games ever since she was out of the womb. Remie loves competitive fighting games and platformers the most, with a hint of RPGs on the side. She's currently going to school for game design; her favorite things consist of Street Fighter, Monster Hunter, everything Nintendo, Digimon, Ace Ventura, and big dinosaurs. Remie's been cosplaying casually since 2008, but have been getting a bit more serious about it recently.
(Because, obviously, cosplay is srs bzns.)

Tobie Jade has been cosplaying since 2005, starting with Squall from Final Fantasy VIII. Since then she's branched out to things like Disney, comics, and even the very occasional cartoon character, because growing up is for ordinary people. Currently in college studying Illustration, her interests include drawing, cosplaying, Sherlock, Doctor Who, Tron, and video games like Assassin's Creed, Zelda, and Dragon Age. Her role as the most recent addition to the Arda crew is to provide a helping hand at conventions.
